Founded in 1923 by Manuel dos Santos, we were initially dedicated to the production of hardware for doors and furniture. By 1965, the company had 80 employees and entered the export market.

Between 1970 and 1980, the company began the development of new product ranges including bathroom
accessories and lighting products. In 1973, the company became Valdemar dos Santos, LDA. In 1992 they entered into the UK market establishing Valsan UK Ltd.

Today
After 80 plus years in business, VALSAN supplies a wide range of bathroom and lighting collections, including bathroom accessories, and both floor and table lamps. In addition to our branded products, which are distributed in over twenty five countries throughout the world, Valsan also manufactures a variety of parts, and finished brass products under private label and OEM agreements.
